Julie's warmth and exceptional vocal talents have fast made her a new leading lady of the Australian stage. As a concert artist and theatrical performer, Julie sings music across a number of genres including musical theatre, opera, operetta and classical cross-over.

Julie’s professional career started at nineteen, when she was selected to perform the role of Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera alongside Anthony Warlow.

Julie swiftly made her mark on the musical theatre stage as Maria in Bernsteinʼs West Side Story, which toured nationally and appeared as Grace in the national tour of Annie, where she shared the stage with theatrical greats Nancy Hayes, Anthony Warlow and Todd McKenney. She was nominated for a Green Room Award for this role.

Julie debuted with Sydney Chamber Opera in the title role of The Cunning Little Vixen. In the same year Julie released her debut classical album “Love Went a-Riding” for Skylark Classics. Her concert and event highlights include: leading the National Anthem for various National and Televised events, Opera in the Market with trumpet extraordinaire James Morrison, Opera in the Alps, Carols by Candlelight at the Melbourne Myer Music Bowl (Channel9 Broadcast), The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols Brisbane, performing in A Cole Porter Celebration Concert with Sydney Philharmonia and she appeared with Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in their Gershwin American Songbook concerts with Boston Pops Orchestra conductor - Keith Lockhart. She appeared in AR Rahman in the Asia Topa Festival and joined the elite line up for the BRAVO Cruises with Jose Carreras.

In 2015, Julie began working with Opera Australia as a member of the Moffatt Oxenbould Young Artist Program and over two years, performed the roles of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Voce dal Ciel in Don Carlos, Musetta, Princess Ninetta in Love of Three Oranges and the Woodbird in The Ring for the National company.

Across 2017 and 2018, Julie continued as a Principal Artist with Opera Australia, appearing as Musetta in La Boheme, creating the role of Girofle /Girofla in Two Weddings, One Bride, Flower Maiden 2 in Parsifal and Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow. Her 2018 performances include: Musetta in La Boheme (Handa Opera on the Harbour), Greta in Metamorphosis, she reprised the role of Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow.

In 2019, Julie continues her association with the National Company, performing the Principal roles of Maria in West Side Story (Handa Opera on the Harbour), Musetta in La Boheme, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and she debuts the role of Madama Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims.
