She is Artistic Director of the Sydney Chamber Music Festival , Artistic Advisor for the Sydney Conservatorium High School Senior Chamber Music Program, Founder of the New Sydney Wind Quintet , Artist in Residence 2016 at Fine Music 102.5 FM and is flute teacher on the international faculty playwithapro.com
Bridget has a flourishing partnership with the UK based pianist Andrew West and their CD release “Dancing Shadows”, has earned great international acclaim from Gramophone, BBC Music Magazine, American Music Magazine, Musicweb International , Readings , and Limelight .
Bridget first performed as a soloist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at 15 and studied at the Basel Music Academy completing her master’s degree in performance under Prof. Peter-Luka Graf.
As a soloist, Bridget appeared with the St Gallen and Basel Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra del Teatro Massimo Palermo and the Sinfonica de Såo Paulo among others and she performs regularly for the ABC, Musica Viva, and in festivals including the Huntington Music Festival and Australian Festival of Chamber Music.
Bridget spent several years as principal flautist with the St Gallen Symphony Orchestra, followed by the Såo Paulo Symphony Orchestra. She was guest principal flute with the Zurich Opera Orchestra , Zurich Chamber Orchestra and Basel Symphony Orchestra , Basel Radio Orchestra and has played principal flute with the QSO and AOBO.
